Hi guys! Been a while since the last post. I have been flat out fishing the Upper Wenlock, as well as the salt water surrounding Weipa. The fishing in the creeks has been surprisingly good considering the water temp. Plenty of sooty grunter, saratoga, and barra up in the fresh. Offshore, the pelagics fired up for a couple of weeks with plenty of the usual suspects - Spanish mackeral, queenies and tuna - but a westerly swell has quietened them down for the minute. There are rumours of loads of Spaniards out wide. I will be off to investigate in the coming days and will try to keep you posted. Cheers!!!
