All happening

Well, it's been an awesome past few weeks, both up the rivers and offshore. Plenty of big barra up the creeks, the biggest going 109cm. with both numbers and size of barra right up there! Offshore has been thick with Spanish mackerel and sailfish. We recently had a day where 13 billfish were hooked - landing 2 black marlin and 6 sails!
Here are a few pics with heaps more  to come!

A Spell of good weather and fishing

Hi All! Past couple weeks has seen some great weather and fishing, finger marks have been around in numbers with most being caught on the soft plastics in deep water. Some big Spanish have shown up as well, although we have been struggling to land all of them in amongst the sharks. Fingers crossed the weather and fishing continues!!

Patton Party

The Patton group has just departed with the week producing some excellent big barramundi fishing. The group, most of whom are 6 and 7 year Weipa veterans, all agreed that this was the best barra fishing they had experienced while fishing the Weipa area!! Loads of barra over 80cm, 4 over 90cm, and 2 over a metre!!! Not to mention some quality mangrove jack and threadfin salmon as well.

2013 kick off

Hi all ! 2013 has kicked off and we have been fishing for about 3 weeks now. Fishing off-shore has been a little slow in the tuna and mackerel department, but the Gts and queenfish have kept us more than busy. The creeks have been on fire!  My pics don't do justice to just how well they have been fishing - good size Barra and good numbers of some cracker Mangrove Jacks and threadfin salmon thrown in as well.
