Offshore Heaven

Day one of Dragi, Paul and Kim's 3 day fishing trip was certainly one to remember. By 10am we had lost count of how many Spanish mackerel we had landed - at a conservative guess somewhere around 20!! The rest of the day was a blur with countless brassy trevally, bludger trevally and big queenfish landed, including some solid bludgers on poppers.
Lure fishing up the creeks provided plenty of fun. The water was fairly clear so we got to see a lot of the barra bites. There have been many small barra over the past few days, although Dragi managed to land this very fat 80cm barra early in the morning.
